The London Met archives have come up with a new video lauding Thamesmead from its early years. This is semi fictional as it deals with a young couple wandering around the area, but also contains a lot of footage of actual residents. It’s quite eerie to look at the buildings that have barely changed and see people in obviously dated vintage outfits wandering around it.
